A most decadent weekend

28 August 2006 3 Comments

Not in the way you think lah. I packed the kids off to Sunday School and had some time before my service started, so did a spot of shopping.

A spot, my big round ass. Bloody before I knew it, I bought two pairs of shoes from Aldo, three dresses and a corset top AND four lacy skimpy G-strings from Dorothy Perkins, two nasty little pieces from La Perla, two tops from Miss Selfridge and freaking seven pieces of tops and jeans from Gio Kids for the two pipsters! AND a Biotherm chrome powder case which was so crazily gorgeous I HAD to get it. AND two black funky cushion covers from Life Storey. Thankfully I resisted the pair of True Religions Jeans that I tried on for fun. It was freaking S$459.00 and I know why. It made my stomach look so abs0-f**kingly-lutely flat and lifted up my butt to bootylicious levels…. IT TOOK ALL OF MY SELF CONTROL TO RESIST.

Plus the amount we spent on food at Carl’s Burgers and gelato… I can safely say that I have broken my personal shopping record of spending more than a 4 figure amount within a span of a few hours.

Anyone got the number for Shopaholics Anonymous? Anyone?

So much for making a resolution to a girlfriend on not spending so much money on shopping.
