Even though it says "innocent until proven guilty" you have to sit in the lock-up for months while awaiting trial. Even if you are innocent. As long as you don't have the money to post bail. And while awaiting trial, you lose your job and the ability to provide for your family. Even if you are innocent. You know what’s unjust about the justice system?
